成立于2014年的河南大学职务犯罪检察研究中心系河南大学人文社科三个省部级重点科研机构之一。2020年8月28日，经与全国23个重点院校同类研究中心竞选，同北京大学、清华大学成为本轮新增的三个研究基地，并被最高人民检察院授予 “职务犯罪检察研究基地”，成为其在全国布局的唯一职务犯罪检察业务条线国家级检察智库。
研究基地主任由我校黄河学者刘路阳教授和最高人民检察院第三厅厅长联合担任。目前专职研究员六位：一位全省检察业务专家、两位省监察委 “河南省监察法研究会”副秘书长、常务理事。另外，数位全国检察业务专家、全国检察教官、检察长、员额检察官，法官，国家、省、市监察机关调查人员受聘兼任研究员。
未来，研究基地工作视野不拘束在河南，业务范围和学术名家放眼全国，吸引、汇聚国内外学术界和实务界的资源，组织、协调机关、企事业单位研究人员开展多元化合作，努力建成国内职务犯罪检察研究领域具有一流水准和重要影响力的人才培育基地、建言献策渠道、法律研究中心。
Established in 2014, the Duty Crime Prosecution Research Center of Henan University is one of the three key research institutions in the humanities and social sciences at Henan University recognized at the provincial and ministerial level. On August 28, 2020, after competing with similar research centers from 23 key universities across the country, it was selected as one of the three new research bases along with Peking University and Tsinghua University. It was awarded the title of "Duty Crime Prosecution Research Base" by the Supreme People's Procuratorate, becoming the only national-level procuratorial think tank in charge of duty crime prosecution nationwide.
The director of the research base is jointly held by Professor Liu Luyang, a Yellow River Scholar at our university, and the director of the Third Hall of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. Currently, there are six full-time researchers, including one provincial procuratorial business expert, two deputy secretaries-general, and executive directors of the "Henan Provincial Supervisory Law Research Association." In addition, several national procuratorial business experts, national procuratorial instructors, procurators, judges, and investigators from national, provincial, and municipal supervisory authorities have been appointed as part-time researchers.
In the future, the research base will not be limited to Henan, but will expand its business scope and academic influence nationwide. It aims to attract and gather resources from academia and practice, organize and coordinate research cooperation with government agencies, enterprises, and institutions, and strive to become a talent cultivation base, a channel for suggestions and contributions, and a legal research center with first-class standards and significant influence in the field of duty crime prosecution research in China.
